Fiona Leverone

Miss Leverone is a 2010 graduate mechanical engineer from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She joined UKZN’s Aerospace and Systems Research Group at the start of 2011 to pursue her master’s in engineering which focused on conducting performance studies for sub-orbital hybrid sounding rocket, and has presented her work at the Joint propulsion Conference in California and the International Astronautical Congress in Cape Town. She has commenced her PhD in orbital propulsion and is a bursary holder from the South African National Space Agency.
